Default Is the transmission really bad on an under 100k Honda Pilot?

My 2014 Honda Pilot is great, but as soon as it warms up now the check engine light starts blinking and the transmission starts acting a little funny. After it sits and I turn it back on again, no issue or blinking light until the engine heats up again.

I've read that the blinking check engine light usually has to do with an engine misfire - could it be a bad transmission too? Sucks if so seeing as I haven't even hit 100k miles yet...

You need to read the codes/DTCs. You can get an OBDII Bluetooth adapter and a mobile phone app like Torque, or, go to an auto parts store that will read the codes for free. A dealer or independent shop is another option but they will probably charge for the code reading/diagnosis.
