MAF sensor recommendations
I have a 2011 CRZ EX CVT. I’ve installed a takeda intake and fitted rb1 intake manifold from a Honda fit. I plan on using Honda Tuning Suite to fix some errors in my mixture (too rich at WOT, too lean at idle). I’ve heard faulty MAF readings may be to blame, and that Honda MAF sensors aren’t the best let alone one that’s 13 years old. So I want more precise readings especially since I’ll be messing with it. On top of that they say upgrading MAF can result in smoother idle, better mpg and even throttle response in some cases… all of which I’m interested in.
my question for you guys is what is the best sensor for Hondas/for crz. I see hitatchi on rock auto for 60 bucks. Are the $150+ options that much better? Or am I over thinking this and can go with the 20 dollar one. Any input is greatly appreciated
