Catalytic converter question EX versus HX; desperate for answers
I know the DX/LX only has the one cat built into the manifold, and the EX only has the cat that’s under the engine not built in. My HX has both style converters; but it seems like the one from the EX isn’t the same as my 2nd HX one and I need to know if they’re different or not. Judging by pictures alone, it seems like the EX has more space between the rear flange and cat, and the angle to the bottom of the manifold portion is different whereas my HX one has the flange basically AT the cat and a different looking angle and I’m just so confused. I don’t want to order the wrong one and I need to figure this out ASAP lol somebody PLEASE help me out
There should only be one. The ex style is cheaper and easier to get so just get an ex manifold and cat and set it up that way.
Oh didn't know hx had 2 cars and 3 o2 sensors, sorry. If there is no difference in reading between the last 2 o2 sensors you'll throw a code. You're probably going to have to find a weld in cat at this point.
