Default Catalytic converter question EX versus HX; desperate for answers

I know the DX/LX only has the one cat built into the manifold, and the EX only has the cat that’s under the engine not built in. My HX has both style converters; but it seems like the one from the EX isn’t the same as my 2nd HX one and I need to know if they’re different or not. Judging by pictures alone, it seems like the EX has more space between the rear flange and cat, and the angle to the bottom of the manifold portion is different whereas my HX one has the flange basically AT the cat and a different looking angle and I’m just so confused. I don’t want to order the wrong one and I need to figure this out ASAP lol somebody PLEASE help me out

There should only be one. The ex style is cheaper and easier to get so just get an ex manifold and cat and set it up that way.

The HX is supposed to have both of them, and 3 o2 sensors; I’m just not sure if they’re actually the same because it looks like the angle might be a little different and more space between the back flange and actual converter. I don’t want to order the wrong one but it seems like finding info about the HX specifically is a huge pain. I’m considering just gutting that second one out but I’m not sure if that will mess up the 3rd o2 that goes directly into the side of that converter and I’d rather not have to deal with any codes considering my whole issue hasn’t given me codes to begin with and the cars still not drivable and I’ve been going nuts over it for months now.

Oh didn't know hx had 2 cars and 3 o2 sensors, sorry. If there is no difference in reading between the last 2 o2 sensors you'll throw a code. You're probably going to have to find a weld in cat at this point.
