B16A with GSR CAMS AND ADJUSTABLE CAM GEARS
recently did my turbo build but it seems as though when I use the timing light it shoes my engine is out of timing but due to marks on cam gears and and pulley it is in timing , I was wondering if I had to degree my adjustable cam gear angles to get it in timing . set up is B16A head and block ,GSR cams and Aem adjustable cam gears .
The blind will tell you set them to 0/0 and call it a day, and you would be OK doing that.
The alternative is to properly compensate for your specific engine, the amount of times the head/block have been decked/milled will amount to more/less degree being needed. This is in the relm of optimisation not avoiding catastrophic failure.

Found timing marks arent aligned at all , took off AEM adjustable cam gears. And found 2 OEM cam gears and proved the angles on the intake adjustable cam gear was out by about 3 teeth
