Default B16A oil light then stalls

Hello,

I hope someone can help me out. I am running a stock all-motor B16A with a stock P28 and the usual bolt-ons, and a few weeks ago, after I got my exhaust welded up, the oil light came on, and car stalled out. This happened a few times before I got it home. Oil in the car is full and I have no leaks.

I just installed a new oil pump, water pump, oil sending unit, and timing belt but the car is still having this issue.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Since the engine is stalling... it is likely that you either have a failed oil pump or you are losing oil pressure through the main bearings.

Thank you for the response. Gave it one more try and same results, sucks. I'm pulling the engine tomorrow.

Craziest thing is, it ran fine until the muffler shop welded everything up. Could it be possible for the downpipe from the header cause the bearings to burn out? The reason i ask is because the downpipe was resting against the oilpan after the installation. Here are a couple of pics.
