Legend 3.2 V6 and Nitrous(NOS aka NAWWWSSSSS is a COMPANY people)
Now don't pledge to me about the safety warning is nitrous oxide (not NAWWSSSS). Just because I am new to the board doesn't mean I'm not new to cars and do not have any mechanical experience. All I want to know is what is the largest shot of nitrous the Legend 3.2L V6 engine (79,500 miles) can handle? It wouldn't be frequently used, just for pecky Mustangs and the like who think they can take my Legend. I'm thinking a 50 shot? Less? More?
Also, a now-closed shop here in town thinks nitrous Dry kits are God and wet kits suck. But, as a former Nissan enthusiast, Wet kits are very common. So I ask which kit would best suit my needs for reliability and fun every once in a while?
Thanks,
Evan

If puny 1.5 and 1.6 liter motors can handle a 50 shot, Im sure your 3.2 wouldnt have a problem.
Assuming your motor is in good condition, I'd say go with at least a 70 shot.
Chances are you wont be happy with the performance of a 50 shot, especially in that big car of yours.
Both dry and wet would work fine for just a 70 shot.
If it were me, I'd first do a compression and leak down test to make sure the motor was in good shape.
Then I'd do some research into the strength of the tranny and make sure it would be able to handle the added power.
If everything was good, I'd run a 100 shot with a direct port kit (you'd also need an ignition system and probably a fuel pump too).
That would make one fun legend.

a 100 shot from a nice wet kit works good. but if you are gonna use it quite a bit, then i would go with a 70 or 75 shot. just make sure the kit is a wet kit. the fastest legend i have seen with nitrous was an auto that ran a 13.4 @ 107mph with a 100 shot and a bunch of other basic mods. but there are guys out there that have squeezed on legend motors for 50k miles, and have had 0 problems. legends rule!!!
i own a 91 legend coupe and im running a 80 shot of NOS....the blue bottle is the best....im shooting 80 shots of NOS wit a 124K miles on the car....no problems yet...and it still running strong....i suggest u start off with a 40 shot...then 60....then working ur way up....
It's No2 not NOS! NOS is a company that make No2 injection systems
They dont sell nitrous dioxide (n02)
If your are gonna try and be a know-it-all, at least know what you're talking about.
You probably correct everybody that calls cotton swabs "Q-tips" and petroleum jelly "vaseline", too.
