Default Used S2000 prices a few years down the road.

I didnt see any of these in the achives. I was wondering where ou all see used S2000 prices in a few years. Is it true that they wil lonly be made for 2 more years? I only drove one once, but it was a fun car. I dont know why some people say its underpowered. It moves. IMO its a better car than my friend's dads Z3 2.8 that i;ve driven alot. The S is faster, more comfortale (the seats in the bimmer are bad), far more nimble, sounded better, and had a much better feeling shifter. It seems only japanese companies can get cars truly right.

If I had a crystal ball that could look into the future, I'd be checking out the stock market not car prices.

A car is a depreciation item, surely a MY2000 will be worth less in two years. These rumors that they'll stop production of the car are BS.

As far as future prices...look at the residual value honda gives for the S2000. I think it's 60%. So After 3 years and average mileage, your s2000 will be worth 60% of what it was new. Pretty high residual.

that is real good. I think hondas in general retain value well. My 94 accord with 125k miles is worth $4,035 and it has scrached paint, a pushed in rear quarter and a front fender that had a dent that i fixed with bondo. Its perfect in mech. condition, has new axles, front rotors and pads. I was pretty hard on it at http://www.kbb.com for the condition. The only major problem was soe seal that went causing all the oil to leak out (engine not run with no oil!), but i was reembursed by honda because there was later a recall on that seal. my mom liked it so much she wants another honda. it caused less problems in 125k miles than our new A4 did in 20k!. anywaym, im rabmling, hondas retain their value well.

S2k specially theft recoveries can be had for under 20k
which is not that bad
00 with clear title can be had for just under or over 20k
the prices on these cars are dropping fast
just keep and eye out for one and they will show
