Hi guys recently I purchased a Honda civic ep2 2005 1.6L vtec and have been having some issues with it.
The car will turn over and run perfectly for around 10minutes and then suddenly cut out and would not restart and just backfire. I have replaced the cts sensor along with the Map sensor which have seemed to improve the engine and help it run but it continues to die.
I then did a spark test on the car and found that coil pack on cylinder 3 was bad I’ve then replaced the coil and a set of new NGK spark plugs but the car continues to die but after the new coil pack and plugs the car will restart again without any hesitation but will just cut out again after a few minutes any advice on how to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated thank you.

 

Did you manage to find out the issue I'm currently having the same issue with my ep2 can't seem to find the problem
