Default Check engine light

So I have a issue with my check engine light on a Honda civic ESI, the wire is not cut from the ecu and it goes till the dash but when I turn the ignition on I have no light from the check light. The light bulb is new I tried replacing, and the dash is good I tested it, but I don’t have power coming from the check engine pin on the pinout. Any idea, can you help me please.

Can you manually light the light with a 9v battery?

I will try this, but I think I can because as I said the dash is good I checked it with the tester.

Well if the connection from the ECU pin to the bulb socket + is good.....and the bulb socket - shows connection to ground, the problem would have to be the ECU. Possibly a faulty ECU or a chipped ECU that disabled the light?

The ECU is deff chipped because the rpm is up to 8200 not a factory one, I bought the car like with this setup.

I looks like the slot for the "chip" socket is empty. But I'm not really familiar with this stuff.

If you have another ECU of the same obd, you could plug it in and see if the CEL lights up when you roll the key to II (don't start)

I believe your tach is broken. It is definitely NOT chipped... the chip should be in the open space at the bottom left corner of your photo... where it says "27SF256".
