Default 1994 Honda Accord EX CEL Code 4

Like the title suggests, I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX with an F22B1 engine. I just completed my manual swap about a week ago, but now I have CEL Code 4. Crankshaft position sensor, which is in the distributor. I went ahead and bought a brand new distributor and the car ran a lot better than it did. It no longer runs rough at idle, and it does not take a minute and a half to go up hills. I already knew my distributor was bad by the way. Here is the problem, I still have the 3500 rpm rev limiter. I unplugged the battery for 30 minutes and plugged it back in, same issue. I drove it for about 20 minutes at a constant speed, but the rev limiter still remains. I tested for continuity, and the distributor side is fine. The side going to the ECU has infinite resistance. Is that normal? Moreover, what can I do to fix it? Thank you! Happy President's Day.

Almost sounds as if you have a non-VTEC distributor installed.
