2001 Civic HX starts and idles fine but stalls under load once warmed up
So when I got the car, it only had an o2 code which I replaced and haven’t had any codes come back since. I replaced the first catalytic converter built into the manifold that was broken into pieces but didn’t fix the problem. The o2 that was bad was the one behind the 2nd converter that’s under the motor and I’m planning on replacing that as well but I find it unlikely for both cat’s to fail at the same time. The car starts and idles fine, but once it warms up it idles rough and as soon as you put it under any load at all and try to drive it dies. There still hasn’t been any other codes since then and it’s driving me nuts because I need my car back. I just wanted to see if anybody could think or any other possible causes aside from the second cat. DX, LX, and EX all only have one converter each but the HX has 3 o2 sensors and both the DX/LX style manifold cat; as well as the EX style under-motor cat just so people know. PLEASE help me lmao
I have a horrible basic code reader and when I went to “I/M” it said ready for most but then cat said not ready, o2’s said not ready, and EGR also said not ready if that is any help to anybody lol. I really need this sorted out ASAP
