Shifting issue, b series.
I have a 99 ek coupe with a b18b1 and LS trans.
I recently installed a new comp stage 3 clutch kit (clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, pressure plate) along with a new pressure plate.
The problem I am having is with the car off I can shift into 1-4 and reverse perfectly, I have a 5th gear cuff so no 5th gear. But with the car running and on the ground I can not get the car into any gear, closest thing was it grinded reverse but didn’t engage fully. I didn’t put too much pressure when trying to get it into gear as I didn’t want to break anything inside the transmission. But when I put the car back on jack stands, and started the car in first gear it did fine and the driver wheel spun per usual with open diff, also with it in the air I was able to shift in and out of 1st with car running, but still no other gear. The clutch has pressure, slave cylinder moves in and out, there is the optimal amount of clutch fluid in reservoir. Any thoughts? I’ve already dropped the trans twice in last 2 weeks to inspect clutch pressure plate and all other components along with opening the casing twice checking inside the transmission and everything looks fine, wondering if anyone has any ideas that maybe I’m not thinking of thanks.

- Well I ended up figuring it out, the new trans I bought had different size clutch fork bolt on it that was smaller, so I swapped over my original clutch fork bolt and things are working now.
