I have been swapping my 1993 civic lx to manual. I have the c2spec auto to manual harness in it. It starts and runs but has a Solid CEL and Solid Cruise light. When I insert a jumper the Check engine light only gets brighter and doesn't flash. I have 3 ecus, 1 repaired p06, 1 recently purchased p06, and the auto ecu converted. All 3 ecus give the same results. Any assistance would be appreciated in solving this issue. Please help me!

 

More than likely the jumper harness is bad or wired incorrectly if all 3 ecu show the same behavior.

 

Thanks for the help. When you say jumper harness do you mean the part where I attempt to read codes off of the car? Do you know a way I can test that? I depinned the D4 on the ecu harness last night but the light stayed on. I don't know much so any help is appreciated.

 

No, the auto to manual harness you have could be bad or incorrectly wired. You need to research how to do the auto to manual wiring yourself and you won't need the harness. Then you'll find out if you have another issue.

 

I disconnected the harness and jumped the connector to start the vehicle. It still starts but the CEL is still solid and so is the cruise control light. CEL doesn't give me any codes when service connector is jumped it only gets brighter. Any additional advice would be helpful please and thank you.
