B18b1 swapped EK sedan
Need help I am currently putting a OBD1 b18b1 with GSR manual trans into an obd2 2000 EK sedan.
I read online u can use the d16y8 manual wiring harness with the b to d ECU adapter witch I baught, everything plugs in except the crank shaft position sensor it's different plugs. D16y8 plug has 3 wires, b18b1 connector has 2 wires. The engine cranks and cranks and cranks but won't start.
Seems like the distributor isn't getting spark either I believe we tested it. I'll make sure to test it again tomorrow. But anyways I'm wondering if anyone can help me get this thing to run! Any information helps.
Today I tried taping the crank shaft position sensor wires together trying to figure out what 2 of the three are needed but still no luck getting it to start
