Front end knocking
I've got a knocking noise in the front of my EG that started shortly after I replaced my subframe and LCAs a month or so ago. The car was initially quiet, for weeks actually, and started making sounds on my way to PittRace. I ran all day there in spite of it, and nothing changed for better or worse.
All I changed at that time was the steering rack, LCAs (PCI), compliance bushings (PCI), and subframe
Nothing shifts when the noise occurs and I can't produce it in isolation, only while stopping/starting at like 2mph it while the car travels over slightly uneven pavement. I hear/feel nothing at all while turning or cornering at speed. The noise is disconcerting, but doesn't appear to be tied to any shifting or looseness
Is this sort of noise normal with spherical on every spot in the lower control arms? The noise sounds like something in heavier/harder metal, like a swaybar or half shaft, but there's not meaningful play in the CVs and I can find no issues with the sway connection points. Is this sort of noise normal with spherical on every spot in the lower control arms? I took a couple folks for diagnostic rides, and got responses ranging from "that's why I don't run sphericals" to "sphericals just sound that way", but it's tough for me to blame them based on not being able to observe their specific involvement.

I've searched and checked a lot and continue to come up empty. The car doesn't feel unsafe, but the sound is unnerving.

All I changed at that time was the steering rack, LCAs (PCI), compliance bushings (PCI), and subframe
- The subframe and compliance arm bolts are to spec, tightened with the car on the ground.
- All 4 ball joints on each side (upper, lower, tie rod, and swaybar linn) have no play
- The inner tie rods are new and have no play
- Upper control arms (K-Tuned) are one year old and bushings have no signs of wear
- Every bolt touching anything anywhere on the front suspension and subframe is to spec (every connection bolt, link bolt, castle nut, fork nut/bolt, shock mount nut, etc.).
- I replaced the front swaybar to chassis bushing and the link to control arm bushings with no change.
- I recently replaced every damper, from top to bottom, with new stuff (coilovers, new mounts, etc ) and it made no impact

Silly question, and I'm afraid of the answer. My door hinges are freaking shot and I see at least 1/8-1/4" of movement when rocking the open door up and down. I dismissed it because the doors are closed and there shouldn't be movement, I'd think. Maybe I'm wrong?
