Rear brake swap EK3
Hello! This is my first post and it would be awesome if some of you guys could help me a bit.
I want to swap my stock rear brakes on a EK3 for disc brakes. I saw that i need to get traling arms of a MB, EG, or EK4 etc. But Ive been told that any trailing arm besides EK4 ones will "widen" the back of the car.
The problem is that i have access to buy EG or MB ones and i EK4 are not that easy to get.
The question is, żis there something i can do to get EG trailing arms and get them fitted into my EK3 without modifying the width?
Thanks!

Trailing arms from MA/MB/MC will 100% widen the rear of the car, but the widening will not be large. From what I have in my mind, it will be about 1-1.5 cm on each side.
As for the widening of the trailing arms from the EG, I'm not sure if it exists.

I believe that the widening of the rear is all in the spindles, not in the trailing arms themselves. EG/EK 4x100 spindles will not change your track width. MB spindles (if I've received correct information) share the longer stub axle of the type R spindles.
Thank you for the response! So if I mount EG6 trail arms they will not modify the track width. Is this correct? Or do I need some extra pieces to adjust the fitment such as aftermarket lcas, etc. Thanks!
