I picked up my '93 Del Sol S (160xxx, 5 speed Manual) over the weekend and can't wait to start working on it this weekend and so forth. Got all new fluids for it, doing a complete change this weekend to start fresh, brakes are getting done, new tires, filters (including air filter and air cabin filter, fuel filter seemed decent when I checked yesterday but may still replace). Any tips/tricks to the Del Sol that you all have found interesting/helpful? Any reliable sites for good quality (but affordable) parts? Stickies for interchangeable parts off of different vehicles? etc, etc. Anyways, attached is my ride currently previous owner rattle canned it so I'll be wrapping it red within the next few months (military willing!), also have new headlights and aux lights coming as as well. Any ideas of what to add on to it as well? Also looking for ways to help improve certain things (will upload photos later on of what I'm referring to), such as the targa top, where the handles should be they aren't there and the metal piece that's sticking out is all rusted up and worthless, can only get targa top off with vice grips atm. And then the driver side door can't close all the way (still locks) due to the metal piece that the door latches on too (not sure how else to describe it) is like falling off (again will upload photos when possible, but thinking tig weld in place?).
