2000 Accord EX 3.0L V6. I keep getting the P1259. I did oil change, valve adjustment, replaced all three VTEC components near the oil filter namely the VTEC solenoid, switch, and the oil pressure sensor. Now what happens is the following problem: the first start of the day it idles rough with the engine cutting out over 3500 rpm (which is the VTEC symptom.) But after warm-up and restart it runs well with no code and no problems. I checked the solenoid continuity and the solenoid voltage - all good. Cleaned some old oil off the wires and connectors. Same problem. Any suggestions? Is it the ECM?
