Default ECU options for my Civic Hatch

Hey guys I know there’s a lot of options when it comes to ecu but here’s where I’m at, I would love some recommendations. I have a P06 I picked up back in high school and recently I got a 2000 civic hatchback with a d16y7 and d16y8 intake. I chipped the p06 and got a chip with a basemap and a few other things from HAMotorsports. Hooked up a OBD1 to obd2b harness and the car would start but ran like ****. I had the 3 wire iacv unhooked as I’m aware it will not work correctly. I have a Solid CEL that will not blink even when blue connector is jumped. The solder joints are not bad, I don’t see any leaked capacitors either. With that being said im really not interested in trying to repair this ecu, I read it could be IC 17, capacitors, or even a logic controller. Yes hondata is what I would love to run but is there any decent proven standalone ecu y’all would recommend for my current setup which will be getting turbo’d until I do my k swap and I'm just getting burnt out with looking at over priced hard to find 20 year old ecu’s. Thanks.
