96 Accord F22B1 JDM Swap Wiring Confusion
I've JDM swapped an f22b1 (vtec) into my non vtec accord that had an f22b2. I managed to figure out the TDC and CYP sensor relocation wiring from the timing cover to the distributor as well as getting the internal coil to work with two(?) splices and a fuse as a jumper.
EDIT to update post:
I've driven 600 miles or so that seem trouble free except the flashing CEL in my face. It's driving me insane not knowing why it's kicking on.
P1300, p301, 302, 303, 304. But it runs smooth.
I get a hot spark when I pull a wire out and let it zap to my valve cover while running. New cap rotor and wires. Everything is wired correctly and I think if it wasn't, I'd be either getting codes about sensor issues or it wouldn't run at all.
Is there any chance of discrepancies between each of the OBD1 vs OBD2 once around sensors? I think this engine may have come out of an OBD1 car.
This is driving. Me. Insane.
