1989 civic hatch brake lights fuse blowing
The fuse for my brake lights keeps blowing. it is not consistent and seems to only blow while the car is driving. I have done multiple tests and it's not the two rear brakelight bulbs because I took them out and drove it and it still blew. I took the top third brake light bulb out and drove it and it didn't blow when the it had before. this lead me to think that I had found the problem and it was either the socket or the wiring. but when the next day driving I realized the brake lights had gone out again but I had left the light out so it shouldnt have been any different from before. I am very confused and not sure how to continue.

I had the same issue, for me, it was a bad brake light switch which is under the dash that the brake pedal pushes.. replaced it and all is fine.
