Sheared Crankshaft/Flywheel Dowel (h22a)
The previous owner must have done some "questionable" torque specs, but all 8 flywheel bolts backed out and the flywheel was free spinning. it appears to have sheared off the alignment dowel between the crankshaft and the flywheel. Is this piece important? As long as I line up the hole with where the dowel should be am I fine? I'm struggling to find any sort of part number for it and the removal seems like it might be more of a danger to the crankshaft than it's worth. The engine is an obd1 h22a if it matters.
