H22A flywheel info!
I was wondering if the flywheel is different on the accord type-r tranny than they would be for the prelude transmission? Because I just ordered a new h22a from hmotorsonline and the flywheel is to big to get the transmission on the new motor? And its the flywheel from the other h22a I had before. And I didn't have any problems with that with the last h22a. NEED HELP! I don't know if the trannies are different!
Thanks
Thanks

Re: H22A flywheel info! (ACTman)
Yeah that's what I thought, but the pilot bearing in my flywheel is 9/16 and the spline of the tranny is too big to fit in the pilot bearing? I'm wondering if the flywheel I got is the wrong one?

It sounds like it. The bearing on the H flywheel is acutally a bushing. The flywheel should also have timing marks behind the ring gear, it should be able to fit a 225mm clutch disc, and the flywheel step should have the disc recessed into the flywheel by almost an 1/8".
