Can I successfully swap my 2.3 Ulev vtec, trans and pcm for a 2.3 vtec, trans and pcm. It's all going into a 2000 accord ex with 148k. The reason is #4 pisto hit valve, (my fault first time doing timing belt and key way slipped). I replaced bent valves piston didn't become adjustable but #4 is still miss firing. Also it surges when in park and neutral between 1k and 1600 rpms. Trans leaks severely, like 1 gallon of fluid every week, or she don't like to shift. I found several copart, iaai and repairable cars local to me but they are all just vtec engines. I figured buy junk car pull needed parts. Will this work?

I always read that only ULEV parts can go into ULEV cars, but unless your state has California emissions standards, who would check?!
