K series Supercharged awd
I feel the only hang up would be exhaust. Hood exit or fender would be so loud especially a street driven car. Running a full exhaust would be the challenge with the driveshaft in the tunnel. I feel this setup would be strong awd. Just wanted people’s opinions constructively on it. Haven’t found anything about it anywhere.

The only big consideration would be cost. The K Swap, the supercharger setup, and AWD - You're already easily at $30K all in there, honestly. But it is very achievable, especially considering how well put together some of these new AWD kits are like the HubCity or S1 Built.
Good to know. I know the build is pricey but it would be that or more going the turbo k awd route. I want something different and plan to spend 30k plus regardless. Just trying to feel out whether it would be a nice setup for a street daily/track weekend eg hatch. Im considering a jdm k20r or a fully built 4piston or drag cartel k20 or k24, built awd transmission, s1built awd kit merc racing tvs1900 or 2300 roots blower depending on the motor choice. Ultimately looking to run 9’s with a/c.

Sounds good - What your proposing is definitely possible, so long as you're prepared to invest both the money into doing it right, and the time it takes to research. Sounds like you have a decent general idea for the starting point.
If you're going forced induction, then I'd recommend having a reputable Honda engine shop (4Piston, Ramey, or Laskey) build the engine as you suggested. OEM sleeves will be fine, but you'll definitely want forged rods/pistons and maybe some light headwork.
Read the AWD subforum here for more ideas, you can also read the thread I made there a few months ago asking what the "Best" AWD kit was where we had a pretty good discussion on it.
I know @B18C5-EH2 has a K swapped EG with a roots blower and working air conditioning.

Thank you for your response. Definitely going to buy a fully built motor and leaning towards a 4piston k24 turbo spec motor if I go turbo. I have a couple months to decide which route to go and definitely trying to research as much as possible beforehand. The awd supercharged setup intrigues me because I haven’t seen anyone do it, but it’s alot of money to spend if the end results are lacking. As I said this will be a daily street car that sees track days occasionally. But it will be built right no corners cut for piece of mind and longevity if that’s even possible lol. Again I thank you for your input and advice. Here is the car and the YouTube channel it will be built on
.
Either a turbo or SC build would end up costing roughly the same. If your goal is a 9 second pass, then the turbo would have an easier time getting you there. The immediate torque of a roots supercharger especially on a K24 would be a lot of fun on the street though.
Either choice would be a lot of fun. Your Si looks to be in VERY good condition, and I'm extremely glad to see you're taking the build and the car seriously. Breaks my heart when people do their "budget" build bullshit and completely mangle what could have been a clean Honda, happens all too often.
Good luck, have fun! Last piece of advice - Try to get all the parts you need for the build and swap BEFORE taking the car apart. It'll make things move a lot smoother and quicker when you start actually working, and minimize down time. In general it'll help keep spirits up, lol.

Show me the car.
Actually, let me drive the car.
Actually, please park the car in my garage along with the keys and signed title.
thx <3
This should be doable. You might have to get a header custom made, I know some k series headers interfere with the transfer case. But if you have money I see no reason this setup can't happen. Lots of turbo awd cars have the exhaust under the car with the driveshaft in the tunnel so that shouldn't be an issue. I think it would be cool to see something like this done.
It would be impressive. Even on a K20. That transmission and transfer case will need a lot of money to hold up though.
Yes. Came across this Today. Hope this helps.
A guy did this to a civic. No clue how much money he spent on it. Search up “AWD K-Series Civic goes 7’s first time out EVER!” Link below

Whyd they(xenocron) end up closing? They were another one of my go to sources for years.
