Default ITR fuel pump vs Civic B16A fuel pump

Is there a difference or are the specs of those fuel pumps the same?

Default Correct...

...94-97 delSol VTEC, 99-00 Civic Si, 94-01 GSR, and all ITR/CTRs have the same identical fuel pump.

I don't have flow data, although RC Engineering should since they do pump testing all the time. They did the volume vs pressure test posted on Hondata's site. That one was from a Civic Si, which would be the 'big' Honda pump.

Let's just say it's enough of a difference that Honda felt to put the higher flowing pump on the other cars vs the standard EG pump. And that's just bone stock cars - you will find that on modded cars the EG pumps lean out because they can't keep up with flow. And for FI I wouldn't even consider the stock Civic pump.

Also, I forgot to mention that I am almost positive CRVs use the higher flowing pump. I have not verified it personally, but I know a lot of people that do B20 swaps into an EG has flow problems with the stock EG pump.

Personally though, if you have a Civic pump and were considering getting the higher flowing Honda pump, you may as well get a Walbro 190LPH pump for $70 which will be plenty of flow for just about anything short of wild FI setups.

Correct...when I said EG I meant SOHC.

B-series DOHC VTEC/DOHC non-VTEC pumps are the 'big ones'. So anything Honda stuffed those into got the big pump. EG2 (I already mentioned), EG6 etc.

Stephen, have you been able to verify a CRV for sure?
