Default 99 Driver side window issue

I’m tryin to get the driver side window to go up on a 99 civic coupe by applying power and ground directly to the window motor.

Anyone know which wires I need to apply power and ground to make the window go up?

thanks in advance

Not 100% sure but I think you would ground the black, apply 12v to the blue and then touch the red to the powered blue wire to make it go up.

Was trying to understand wiring diagrams for shitzngiggles just trying to help you out. Possibly it seems like you could just ground the blue wire and power the red. I now am thinking that the blue is a switched ground going into the motor and coming out a black wire. If it's still a no go, lastly I would just try grounding both blue and black wires then powering the red. The yellow seems like it would close and the red to open. Still learning wiring schematics here..

I could never get it to work. I’ll just end up plugging everything back into the fuse box. Give the fuse box power and get the window up that way.

it was worth a shot to try and figure it out.

I still can’t get the window to go up. I’m not sure if I’m not completing the ground properly.

Scenario:

No motor or engine harness in the vehicle. Chassis harness still in place and interior harness still in place. Plugged the ecu back in, reconnected the fuse box and gave power to the inner slot (like you would with a battery cable). Have do not have power going to the other location as that would be the engine harness (alternator spot).

I’d figured there would be a way to get the window to go up by giving direct 12v’s to the window regulator connector.

Have you tried just putting a battery in the car like normal in the engine bay, everything existing plugged in, turned the key to the on position and tried to close the window?

Unfortunately I can not, I do not have the engine harness or charge harness in the car. Actually sold the engine/trans and harness. I still have to harness that goes through the firewall into the fuse box. I hooked it back up yesterday and gave power to the fuse box and turn the key on but nothing happen. So I’m stuck trying to figure if I did something wrong, like a ground not being completed for the fuse box circuit or trying to figure out how to get the window open by providing direct power.
