Alright, first and foremost, I definitely fucked up this one, so I apologize in advance for anyone that has to deal with this, but I was recently replacing my PCV valve, when I noticed the hose underneath was brittle and cracked. Obviously, I wasn’t going to leave it like that, so I sourced a new part online, and got to removing it from the breather chamber today. During the removal though, I had broken off the chamber joint due to limited space, and the condition of the original hose, and, of course, that just happened to be a discontinued component. My question is, could I get away with using a different chamber joint such as this one (11854-PR3-000) instead of sourcing a new chamber joint that was made for this car?

Thanks so much in advance
try a different piece of hose or ebay as long as the fit is reasonably tight it will work
Yes - if it fits, use it. You don't even have to stay loyal to Honda here...the auto parts store may have an aftermarket brand for cheap that will work.
What year, make, model and trim is your car. If it's a VX, you should not "just use any old tube" you find. The VX uses two pcv valves. It's odd but it's how it is.
