hose clamps on a cvboot
anyone see aanything wrong with using a screw-type hose clamp on a cv boot (holding it on the axle) instead of the cv boot clamps? the cv boot clamps didnt hold it on very tight at all, even with a cv boot clamping tool, and the hose clamps are so much more plentiful, easier and tighter. Anything wrong with this?
buy the crimp type clamps for cv axle boots, with hose clamps it can come loose or start scraping things and can go through tranny cases and other things. It happens over time not right away.
the clamps are 1 or 2 a piece

well i had some of those and they just didnt get tight, they kept slipping loose, which i definetly dont want. I trimmed the hose clamps down and they down scrape anything when i spins the wheels. also, would it be onay to remove the clamps and reinstall some of the cv boot clamps with the axle still on the car?
