What's up everyone, about 4 months ago I took on the task of converting my Del Sol to manual and everything went well, sort of. We did all the essential Sxxx like knocking out the pin to make it think it's in park and everything went well with the installation, and it doesn't leak like it did with the automatic trans. The one thing I haven't bought yet is the manual ECU which leads me to think the issue could be that it's not communicating properly with the car but when I try to turn it over the fuel pump stays on and won't shut off like it should after 3-5 seconds and I ended up just flooding it and gave up, and we ended up having to take out the windshield washer relay due to when I turned the car over to auxiliary mode the fluid wouldn't stop spraying and the wipers won't stop unless we yanked out the relay. I hate having it just gaining dust in the garage and not being even able to turn it over and I just want to get it up and running so i can at least fix the rest of the issues that it has. One issue that happened before the conversion was that it was going through a full tank of gas every 3 days and i barely can get 100 miles out of a single fill up. So, if anyone knows what could be happening, I'm all ears. Also, if anyone has a manual p06 ecu for sale let me know as well. TYIA
Great looking Del Sol. Your wiring mods for the MT conversion has problems. You've somehow run constant power to both the fuel pump and the wipers, possibly from the same or different sources. Show me the wiring changes you did. These problems likely originate inside the cabin, under the dash.
Thank you for the photos, however this doesn't show me all that was done. You'll need to explain this exactly. Auto to Manual involves mucking around with wiring under the centre console. If you did the work, this should be easy. If someone else did this, then get them to explain it!
Also, there's a cut white-looking wire cut. I think it goes to the blue connector? What's that? What colours is it? WHT/YEL? WHT/GRY?
