Default del sol auto to manual conversion

Hi I have a 93 del sol si d16z6 auto trans 260k on it, I bought it with a bad motor. I have a complete d15b7 with manual trans attached and shift linkage and ecu. I bought it from someone parting out a del sol with 137k on it. Also have a cluster and shift boot. How hard is it to do the auto to 5spd conversion given what I have already, or should I just leave it auto? What other parts might I need...

It's pretty straight forward. You'll need an auto to manual conversion mount, a set of pedals, manual throttle cable and you'll have to do some minor wiring. It's a bolt in swap for the most part.

This might be a dumb question but do I need the at to mt mount if the d15b7 with mt came with the mounts, or does it need something else? Can you elaborate on what wiring?

It's a conversion mount, and you do still need it.

The conversion itself is really pretty easy. Assuming you have a basic understanding of how stuff works, common sense, and tools you'll be fine. I did mine by myself in a few days.

A quick tip, when swapping the pedals, take the whole damn steering column out. it's a HUGE pain in the ***, easily the hardest part of the job.

I've done the manual swap before. The worst part is that the automatic shifter has a much larger hole in the tub to fit. so when you do install the manual shifter you're left with a big hole around it. If you can weld you can cut the panel out of the old car and weld it in the new vehicle. If not you can just tape the **** out of it. lol Also, you can see on the body where the shifter mounts to. There are two indents where you need to drill in order to fit the shifter bolts... That's it mechanically. You have the B-series starter, flywheel, clutch, axles. You'll have to install the clutch master cylinder. Then there is the matter of wiring it so it'll start and the reverse light switch works.

It doesn't fit... it will rub against the underside of the center tunnel unless it is HIGHLY modified. It's a fairly tale my friend.
