jdm gs-r idle/stalling problems
Ok well here's the deal, I have a 98 ek w/ a stock obd2 b18c... Im running a jumper harness into an obd1 chipped p72, also it's not throwing any codes right now... My problem is that my idle fluctuates between 1500 to 2000 rpm when warmed up... I cleaned out the IACV and FITV... checked for any vacuum leaks and there are none... and still the problem is there... Also at time when im cruising my car would occasionally die on me and it'll take me approx 10mins to start it back up... I ran out of ideas on what to do... I was wondering if you all can help me out with my situation, any suggestions would help... my last resort is to take it to a shop...

Have you checked the throttle cable or the idle adjustment screw? I had that problem on my EJ1 and I messed around with the idle adjustment screw and it fixed it.

Here we are years later lol, I’m having an issue with my b18c gsr ek, the car is a bitch to start up, takes a while for it to actually get going, once it idles, it’s either idling to high or to low. So far I’ve changed the map sensor cause it threw a cel. My cel currently is iacv. Should I clean inside my throttle body? Obviously gonna fix the iacv cel. I drove the car down the street before. I know stuff like my dizzy and alternator are all okay. Any help would be amazing, this is my first b swap civic.
