1999 Acura Integra Automatic LS Check engine light came on a started running rough. The reader came up P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire detected. Replaced spark plug in cylinder 3 and It was running fine then it started running rough and surging when driving then check engine light came back on flashing. Just put the reader back on it and it came back up with the P0303 code. So I figured the next step would be to check my spark plug wires and my coil. Is there an uncomplicated way to do this?

 

Option 1: Removes spark plug #3, and connects its spark plug wire while turn on the car/engine (let it run). Confirms that you are seeing spark
Option 2: Measure spark plug wire resistant to ensure all are identical, especially cylinder 3
Option 3: Swap the spark plug wires to confirm it is still issue with cylinder 3.

If you see spark, then the issue is not spark plug wire, coil distributor, but fuel injector. You can swap fuel injector to confirm CEL code moves to diff cylinder

If no spark using other spark wire and spark plug, then the spark distributor contact could be dirty (likes engine oil leak) and leads to poor contact. Open it up and post picture to get more help

You can take a screw driver to check your injectors to put one side on the injector one side to your ear lissen for ticking, if its ticking its working
also why not just replace all spark plugs wires and cap
normal tuneup stuff
you can sand the prongs in the cap if there corroded to
