I have a 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL. I recently changed both heads and a slew of other things. I got the car running and cleared all the codes except for a P0389 Crankshaft position sensor B. The car ran fine with the exception that the Check Engine light was on as well as the VTM which put the car into sort of a limp mode. Ive tried replacing crank sensor and doing a CKP Relearn with my Autel. Relearn was successful but light remained.
Then I read somewhere that the issue could be with the aftermarket timing belt which could have caused the pulse pattern to be slightly off alignment. I got a new belt from Honda and installed it but now no matter what I doo the timing is not lining up. The car cranks and turns but wont start even with the timing spot on in all 3 places. I never messed with any of the operating systems from the time the car was running and the time I replaced the timing belt with OEM Honda part.
Need some ideas on what to check next. Please help ... Go On Dont mind the camera angle. Trust me its spot on On
