so i have a 03 acura el which is the same thing as a honda civic just mines is from canada.
i replace the headgasket about a month ago and after i replaced the headgasket the car threw a code p1259 for vtec malfunction
i replaced the vtec solenoid and checked the pressure switch wiring which checked out ok
but when i checked the solenoid wire i didnt anything back like continuity or ground.
i know i should trace the wire back to the ecu and hope to find a break in the wire but i wanted to see if i can possibly bypass this by grounding out the solenoid wire to the ground side of the pressure switch?
if anyone can help me out i would really appreciate it
