Key Fob lost in 2018 Pilot..Help!
Hello,
The key fob is lost in my 2018 Pilot. I have torn the car apart pretty much, with out actually unbolting seats. I have the key fob low battery alert now so I brought it to my Honda dealership. They told me they could not reprogram a new key fob with the old one still in the car. They told me to go home and rip the car apart. They also said that the key fob will still start the car when the battery dies. I have read otherwise. Anyone ever have a similar situation? I am at a loss....Thanks!

If it fell near the driver's seat, it usually ends up in the area of the rear track end. Use a high lumen flash light or work light to check that area.
If necessary, removal of the seat is only four bolts. Disconnect battery, then remove covers on each track ends and unbolt the four bolts. You may not even need to disconnect the electrical connector(s) under the seat to just slightly move the seat.
