Default Stock oxygen sensor with S300

I’m running a JDM B20B in an ek hatch.I have an I d2 harness with a jumper to my S300. The engine is stock this is just the only ECU I have that runs the car correctly, I run a stock LS map off the S300. I have a stock oxygen sensor and tried a few of the plugs and no matter which one it’s in I always have a CEL for the oxygen sensor. It smells like it’s running very rich also. Is there a setting I’m missing to run it off that stock oxygen sensor that I need to mess with or is a wideband and proper tune the only real way to run my S300?

You can enable or disable closed loop for the oxygen sensor in the s300 settings. Do you have a laptop and are you familiar with changing settings?

Open loop means no o2 feedback loop, aka no changes based on feedback will be made.

Closed loop means take the o2 feedback, and use it to make corrections.

You can also select the sensor type as narrowband.

Hey sorry bro I read this shortly after you posted your reply and saw my response never went through lol. But thank you, thats exactly what im looking for. Im fairly familiar with the Hondata S300 program, mostly the very basic aspects of it. Fine tuning im still working on. But I should definitely be able to manage that. I'll mess with that in a few hours and see if that solves my issue. Thanks again bro
