Wheel Skidding on Sharp Turns
Hey so I recently lowered my 05 Civic EX and my friends and I like to touge. So before hand I would sometimes hear the tires skid but in short bursts while taking sharp turns but now when I do it at a fast speed it seems to almost hop even tho my stiffness is at the max. Any recommendations or explanations? I was thinking it was maybe a grip issue but im honestly not sure.
Many say they are bad but I am running racelands, they are pretty good but im still trying to figure out how to change the stiffness and travel, I know how to change ride height just not the above issues. Im also thinking I need rear camber arms to remove the camber without lifting the vehicle. Keep in mind its not a drivability issue but more an issue when ripping it around corners.
$400 for a set of coilovers.... Yeah super high quality.
They only offer two versions and both versions only offer ride height adjustment. I would raise the coils as much as possible to eliminate the possibility of bottoming. If the rear is cambered out you must have that thing slammed.

its slammed but the rear has an extra 2 inches i can drop. Im gonna raise the rear more and raise the front and if it still isnt fixed ill cut my loses and order new coils. They genuinly arnt bad they just arnt for my driving purposes I guess. Thanks for the help
Slammed is going to have issues with all coil overs. None are going to have any travel left when slammed. The geometry of the suspension goes to **** when slammed.
McPherson strut front ends need to be rather high to keep the lower control arms flat or pointed down. Otherwise on compression you are losing camber and rolling the tire over.
Jack it back up to stock height and your problems will go away.

I feared racelands. They just aren’t setup properly from the factory. The spring rates are too stiff and they are underdamped. As stated before by Ryan and myself. Raise it back up and it will work better. Get a grippier set of tires and it might perform even better.
