Default REPLACED DISTRIBUTOR, THROWING CODES AND DIES AFTER RUNNING FOR A MINUTE OR SO

Okay, my 1988 CRX dx 5spd started having issues with randomly stalling or dying. Found an oil leak from my my distributor and my ECU was flashing codes for a distributor. I replaced it and it will idle pretty well but will then fall flat on its face and flash 4, for a crank position sensor. It at one point was also flashing 8 for TCD. The distributor can only go in one way and I made sure my timing didn’t jump a tooth or anything. It’s my only car at the moment so if anyone could help me out that would be amazing. (I checked and cleaned my plugs, they’re only a month or so old)

I literally just went through this. I bought 3 new dizzys and none of them worked. I messed with timing snd even pulled my harness to check all connections. What needed home fixing it was to get a remanufactee distributor from rock auto. Thee is something off with the garbage zone dizzys. You can by the o ring/gasket kit for a few dollars for the dizzy and put new runners in your old one and that would probably work
