Made terrible mistake
Hello i need some help, i accidently dropped a valve keeper down one of my b18b1 oil veins and it wont come out. I have tried pooting a thing wire magnet with no sign of it working. I have removed oil pan and seen no sign of the keeper. My friend mentioned that it can be inside of the engines oil ways still. At this point im just lost. If there is anyone who knows how to get it out let me know.
P.S before the question arrises i was trying to reinstall the valves while my engine was above my bottom block instead of doing it on my work bench ten feet away. i cant tell you why honestly .

Removing the oil pan will get you close... it is likely inside the windage tray, so remove the oil pick up and the windage tray and you will likely find it. If not, you should be able to see all the way up through the block to the hole that you indicated in the photo above. Be thorough... you will find it.
