I am having a check engine light show up on my 1989 Integra. It is showing a code with 9 flashes on the ECU. This is showing as the CYL sensor. I have replaced this with a good used one and the check engine light is still there. This is a California car with a manual transmission and I am in need of a smog check. It won't pass with the check engine light on. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks

 

Try a new distributor.

Have you tried clearing the code with a scanner or disconnecting the battery?

Is there any drivability issues?
