Hi Everyone,
I have a 2011 Honda Element with the factory remote key lock system that will not lock the doors using the remote. I have checked all fuses, replaced the actuators in both doors and the remote controller under the dash. Plus I got 2 new remote Fobs which I was able to program just fine. When I press the "Lock" button on the re-programmed remote it will blink the lights and activate the security system, but will not lock the doors. The "Unlock" button on the remote continues to unlock both doors and the rear hatch just fine after being locked manually with the key. I can also use the key just fine in each door to both lock and unlock. There is no indication of any doors being left open. At least there is no indication on the dash.

Any ideas on what I should look at next?

 

If it has the add-on Honda accessory security system, it may the security system control unit that is faulty.
