Default Stage 2 Cams / built head with stock pistons?

Hello and good day!
So I have two H22A's, one of them was fully built with mahle golds, rods, and a built head, (crower stage 2 cams, valves, springs and retainers) somewhere along the lines all of the cylinders became scored due to not boring over I assume? one cylinder is scratched too deep to hone, and sleeving is out of my price range so I ended up buying an Ej6 with another bone-stock H that I'm planning on running. Potentially with boost later down the road, for now I'd like to simply get it running.
My question is, would I be able to swap the built head onto the stock block without any clearance issues? Or are high comp pistons a necessity? I know it's possible to find out by claying the motor, but I'm not sure how to go about doing so.
I feel a bit naive asking these questions but I'm really not sure and haven't seen any old forums inquiring about it.. just a young fella starting out with engine building so I'm not the most knowledgeable on what mods require other supporting parts to be installed. Just trying to have some fun with what I already have. 🤷‍♂️
any info would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
