My drivers side axle boot has a slit in it. It's spitting up jizz all over my alternator. Poor alternator.

Does anyone know how much it would be to get this fixed? Not by acura hopefully.

 

if the cut is really small you could just put a little silicon over it, or you can buy a new boot and repack it which would cost about 29bucks, or you can just put a new or refurbuished axel in it if a lot of grease leeked out and the bearings are bad, that would cost about 80 for a refurbished one at like napa, its not a hard job, its messy if you repack it

 

Or get it rebuilt! IMO i would keep the factory one, being it has balncer and napa's do not!!

balancer? if you're talking about the rubber section found on the halfshaft of GSR/LS driveshafts.... it's just a vibration dampner.. and ITR driveshafts don't come with them.

you give them your core, and you can get rebuild axels for 75bucks at napa, they also have a lifetime warrenty on them

 

are they as strong as the OEM ones? Or as GOOD.. you know what I mean?
