Cat stolen need advice and quick fix
Hi everyone my name is Destiny I'm new to this I just registered today my car was stolen last week and I just received it back yesterday the catalytic converter is missing and I need a quick fix for it can't afford a new one right now it is also cutting out in first gear
Maybe your insurance can cover the cost of the fix.

Depending on where you are located, (if it is a state that does inspections/smog testing) you can get away without a cat, but if you are buying a test pipe to replace the cat definitely buy one that is resonated or it'll be very noisy.
We don't know what vehicle you drive or year so can't offer any specific advice, but was anything else stolen? Someone above mentioned the oxygen (O2) sensor, was that stolen along with the cat or do you have some wires and a plug looking device hanging under the car?

Straight pipe can work but it will probably be a bit louder since the cat keeps the noise down as well. It should get you going though. Clamping can work as a quick fix, but just make sure to strap it up well, or it may fall off when driving.
What might be easier to work with (and also cheap) is some flex pipe. Can get them for about $15 online, will just have to measure what diameter piping you need and what length.

Any idea as to what I do with the o2 sensor with a straight pipe or flex pipe replacement?

You can actually get a bung welded on to the exhaust to put the o2 sensor back in. Some pipes that are sold also have the space for this o2 sensor drilled already. Do you still have your original o2 sensor hanging down or did they steal it too?
There is also something called an o2 defouler you can use to trick the ecu into thinking the o2 sensor is still there.

and if you can't weld or don't want to pay someone to weld a bung on, you can get a clamp on 02 bung. Just drill the hole in the pipe and clamp on the bung. Will likely still leak, but should be a decent temporary fix.

You're driving without insurance?
That should be the #1 priority over a loud exhaust. Very irresponsible and a direct cause of increased insurance premiums for everyone else.....
