need quick answer about cat shield

are all the catalytic converter heat shield the same? all years, RS, GSR, TypeR same?

I think so. But who cares. They are totally useless.
No need to replace it.

No, they are all not the same. Different trim lines used different lengths of cats.

last year, it rattled @ just 4000 rpm
now, it is driving me crazy rattling just about every rpm

and i wanna get a used one now!!!

Don't waste your money on one -- you don't need it. Just take the pos off, and that's it.

Tom - who has been heatshieldless for over 2 years with no problems whatsoever.
