Clunk noise when coming off a stop/light
Hey guys ihave a 99 Honda Civic ex, just changed the whole front suspension, & after taking it to get an alignment I notice a clunk noise only when coming off a stop sighn or red light. When I’m driving or going over bump idont hear nothing but only when pressing gas to let off on a stop sign or red light. Any suggestions on what can it be? itried looking up the same symptoms as me but only when going over a bump some civic owners tend to have that clunk sound.
good
It's worth confirming the upper ball joint is seated correctly.
Were the knuckles off? Did the axle nut get tightened to spec and locked in?
Iam noticing that the clunk noise is coming from the fron passenger side suspension & also seen that the ball joint on the upper control arm is not fully on ?, can that be a factor & it’s also truhart control arm. I checked both upper control arms & the one on right side looks different then the one in the left, Ihope u can understand

This is the front passenger upper control arm iwas telling you about, it’s supposed to be new part from truhart but compare to the driver side one it looks off to me.
