D16 obd2 (crank fluctuation sensor) pinout/diagram
Would anybody happen to have the wiring diagram for the crank fluctuation sensor on the d16 obd2 motor. It is three wire, I am trying to figure out which is signal, power and ground. I am thinking the white red wire is (ground).
Blue goes to Blue/Red at the ECU Connector C terminal 22. It detects the CKF and pulses when engine in running.
White is ground. It goes to White/Red at the ECU Connector C terminal 31.
Black is the shield wire.
Resistance between CKF pins 1 and 3 should be between 1.6 and 3.2 kO
There should be NO continuity between ground and pin 1 or between ground and pin 3.
With the CKF plugged back in, there should be between 1.6 and 3.2 kO between plug C terminals 22 and 31.
There should be no continuity to ground for plug C terminal 22 or plug C terminal 31.
If resistance is out or you've continuity to ground, replace the CKF and/or repair the harness.
^^^for non-D16Y5 models. If you've a Y5, the ECY pens are 1 and 11.

^^^ Factory Service Manual. Expensive but well worth it. (You can find a free version of the Helm Manual online. Honda-Tech doesn't host them but, you can search around and find them on other forums.)
What engine? Hitachi or TEC?
