Hey beautiful people! Going to be buying the Go-Autoworks turbo kit when I get everyone’s input and wanted to see what you all think for power goals I’m going for which is more then 300 less then 400 on 93 octane only. Turbo kit I’m looking at is linked and build in the attachments. Only questionable thing about the motor build is what the compression is. I know it’s high but ya. Don’t know if the Nippon pistons are the “turbo” kind or the “NA” kind. Only thing not listed in the build pics is the injectors which are 660 Siemens btw.
keep in mind waste-gate on this kit is 14psi which I plan to keep (whatever power that makes) also it will be a recirculated dump. Car makes 205Hp right now as it sits.
All good advice! Realistically all I want is over 300hp TBH. Do you guys think i should switch out the waste-gate spring for a 7psi one and then get a manual boost controller too turn it up as needed? Instead of starting with the 14 psi spring which could be too much boost for that 300 wheel Ide assume? Thoughts?
Also I have no intentions to change the pistons, compression, or go for a high hp build. Mainly asking questions on 300hp with the turbo kit. Thanks!
Your URL you're using to try showing us the turbo kit you're ordering doesn't work, it links to your shopping cart. So we don't know what manifold + turbo combo you're using.
Additionally, Brian Crower Stage 3 cams are a very poor choice of cams for this build. OEM GSR, ITR, or Skunk2 Tuner 1 cams would all be better options.

I would run the lower wastegate spring, a MAC solenoid, and let Hondata control the boost by gear. If you have any budget left, put an MFactory helical LSD in the transmission.
