Icon5 My Honda Civic 1997 Automatic with 2002-4 D17A2 swapped Engine

Hi Guys!

I own a 1997 Honda Civic with a default 1500cc engine and standard Automatic transmission. A month back, I got my engine assembly swapped with D17A2 (probably Japanese variant). They changed everything except the transmission box (to avoid extreme modification as well as to cut down the cost). Since, I always fancied HUDs and other Gadgets but since my old ECU didn't support OBD protocol therefore my wishes and desires were unfulfilled. And that is the only reason why I didn't swap with the same assembly rather moved to D17A2.

Now, the problems I am facing are a bit strange (atleast for me) and I am looking forward to you guys (the experts) for advise and possible solutions. Listed problems are as follows:
  1. I bought an OBD2 Scanner ELM327 and synced it with my mobile phone using Torque Pro. Everything went well except that it doesn't show OBD Speed data and I am not getting any clue of how to do it. I would mention here that I still have old AT transmission box (which my mechanic calls "wire-pulled model" as their is a wire linked between the throttle body and the transmission box, and I am not sure if he is correct in this terminology). I can see the Speed Sensor there and its plugged properly as I can see the speed on my speedometer inside. However, no values are showing on OBD2 which (I feel so) means that either the sensor is not connected with the ECU, or ECU doesn't support the sensor or any other unknown reason.
  2. When I throttle my car, sometime, RPMs go beyond 2500 and yet the transmission box seems like not shifting and it only shifts once a particular speed is attained, so I am again confuse if that is the issue with my Engine or with my Transmission box. or is there any adjustment that is needed to align them.
  3. Currently, I have only one O2 sensor connected to my Exhaust pipe (most probably the upstream). Do I need to get the downstream on as well or will it work OK with only 1?
  4. Plus, I am getting a Fault 0135 and 0141 both are related to O2 sensor heater circuit. So need advise about that too.
  5. Then it say P0630 VIN not programmed or mismatched. How I can get rid of this error? I do have ELM327 bluetooth dongle and I can also get to a local mechanic to get hold of a particular scanner if needed.
  6. Then comes P0122 TPS APP sensor issue. Please help with that
  7. P0962 and P0966 Powertrain. No clue at all.
  8. P2770 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit High. Guess this is something relevant to my problem number 2?
  9. P0600 Serial Communication Link. Totally helpless.
A point-wise response will be highly appreciated.

Beside these, I also need advise about how can make my car economical in terms of fuel usage. Currently I am getting 8 KM/LTR locally. I am hoping for atleast a 10. Please do advise in this regard too.
